KISHKINDA HERITAGE RESORT, Hampi – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, surrounded by beautiful landscape where I could relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were charming, allowing me to experience nature up close with visits from horses, monkeys, squirrels, and goats. The only downside was the lack of cottages, but it didn't take away from the overall serenity of the surroundings.

The hotel had comfortable rooms with a cute design and better-than-expected service. However, there were insects in the bathroom that had to be removed. The staff was very helpful and accommodating during the stay, but turned rather rude during check-out. In some cases, they were over-friendly but not exactly hotel-management types. The location had the potential to be amazing with beautiful surroundings, but poor maintenance was a letdown. The dining options were just passable considering the price paid for a simple non-airconditioned cottage. Even though the facilities like car hire, laundry, and newspaper service were available, the setting was not well-maintained. The hotel was near a reservoir and had a water park on the property itself.

The hotel offers a tranquil setting amidst a beautiful landscape where you can swim near rocks alongside friendly animals. The rooms are good, but the value for money could be better. The service is friendly but sometimes slow to address issues, and the location is superb for a peaceful getaway. The dining experience is average given the price paid, and the facilities are decent.
